Pronghorn has launched an internship preparation program for Black students interested in entering the spirits industry. Pronghorn Spirits Academy is designed to provide the tools & resources needed to learn the industry and to position interns for success in obtaining full-time employment post-graduation.
Through this preparatory program, students will engage in structured coaching, networking and mentoring sessions while honing business skills critical for advancement in consumer goods within an ever-changing global marketplace. This program targets motivated Black students attending HBCUs and other universities that are 21+ years of age by the start of training.
The Pronghorn Spirited Pacesetters mentorship program is designed to support career development of Black talent across the spirits industry through 1:1 career guidance from accomplished leaders in the space.
Through a dynamic matching process, Pronghorn will pair mentees with mentors outside of their organization for individual coaching.
Cultured Spirits is a curated recruitment networking mixer to connect Black talent to employers with the objective to increase the labor force representation by Black professionals within mid-level to executive careers.
Spirits PREP is an industry sponsored 8-week professional development program designed to support the development of Black professionals aspiring to pursue careers within the spirits industry. The program offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of the spirits industry, delivered through a combination of asynchronous online and live sessions by industry leaders.
Participants will gain valuable insights into history, state-specific considerations, risk management, compliance, and other vital skills within the spirits industry. By the end of the program, participants will have a solid foundation in the spirits industry, equipped with the necessary knowledge, confidence and skills to thrive.
Applications will open in Spring 2024.
The Spirit Forward Summit is a groundbreaking event aimed at connecting mid to senior level Black professional talent with a network and exciting career opportunities and within the spirits industry.
This in-person conference-style event serves as a platform for fostering meaningful connections, promoting diversity, and advancing professional growth.
